Oppression
Under the rule of the Proper'ns, the Altera Lunans were kept under militant submission. Their ancient cities, such as the City of Nine Shadows and the City of Eleven Lights, were closed to the public. Many of the surviving Warriors and Scholars were either killed or enslaved. Almost half an order of Mithran priests were killed. The Proper'ns were slowly trying to smother the world. The civilians were kept under strict control. All of the early rebellions were put down quickly by armed men. The civilians who had been involved and their families were killed. It was only a short time before the people failed to resist control.
